The Clipp House Located on the Roulette Lane leading to the now infamous ‘Bloody Lane’ once stood the tenant property owned by William Roulette but occupied by a Mr. A Clipp. The property, now demolished, was a one and a half story frame house. https://i.postimg.cc/DzzjNY5d/3-D23-BD89-A9-F4-4780-9-D...

Please accept my apologies for overlooking your fantastic work. I do not know how I missed it. The building is fantastic. The composition is brilliant. The modelling and painting are exceptional. The tiling as pointed out by Mr C is unbelievably realistic. I am going to revisit my structures as the ...

Re: Agincourt 1415

There is a nice ‘feel’ of the occasion here.

It is a pity that the pictures are slightly out of focus because the modelling and painting is excellent.

I love the archers bow strings, it brings them to life.

Best wishes,

Chris

Barns, Part two

I have now finished the Orndorff / Sherrick barn barn.

Bild

It’s not a copy of the original but I think it would be recognisable to their owners.

Happy modelling.

Bank Barns The majority of the barns around Sharpsburg are based on the bank barn system. The idea was to position the barn on the back of a slope allowing easy access to the upper floor and keeping the lower area more sheltered from the weather . Animals were kept downstairs and crops upstairs . I ...

Thank you to everyone for their kind comments. The action is in its critical phase and it will be interesting to see what happens when the die roll! I must mention a special thank you to my good friend Thomas Mischak who supplied the Art Miniturian Brunswickers several years ago. The painting is won...

These pictures are getting better! The compositions and story telling is splendid. There is a real ‘feel’ of the period in all its savagery here. Dreadful though it is,the chap with the flagon and wench is brilliant. I feel as if I have just opened a Bernard Cornwall novel with my hero Uthred of Ban...
